Shropshire based Minshall Construction, manufacturers of Agricultural and Industrial steel framed buildings has opened two new offices.
With a main office in Market Drayton, the company has expanded to add southern and northern branch offices. The new offices are a result of the company’s success in offering customers a full turnkey package and will enable them to further target different areas of the country.
The new offices are based in Salisbury in Wiltshire and Ingleton in North Yorkshire.
One of the company’s recently completed constructions is ‘The Moat Shed’, just north of Wem in Shropshire. The new venture, has been created to bring homemade food, using local produce to its customers and sits on one of only two double moated sites in the country.
The owners of The Moat Shed, Tim and Sue Vernon, were keen for the project to be a joint effort in its design. The Vernon’s have lived on this same area of land for nearly 100 years, and with their consultation and help Minshalls were able to recycle a lot of different building materials and incorporate them into the build itself.
The building also sits on protected land, which presented a challenge which was overcome by sitting the frame on screw piles to protect the integrity of the land, and build up from there. The building is steel-framed, and finished with wooden cladding to allow it to sit in its surroundings perfectly.
